The following photographs were taken about a mile from the Federal Farm area on Old Seneca Turnpike. They have been identified as dewberry plants, likely Rubus caesius, which has been introduced from Eurasia and appears to be fairly invasive. These plants, or some very similar were also discovered on the Federal Farm property in the Autumn of 2015 and will be monitored.

Several new flowers appeared this day. This first group is all of a single flower from a standing plant that has not been mowed. Different cameras and adjustments were used to try to get as many parts in focus as possible. This plant is near, but not the same plant that was flowering on July 2.
Spent flowers on the same plant as the flower photographed on July 2.
Most flowers seen this day were an area that has been mowed at 3-inches for about a year. The following flowers were in that area.
